Guidelines
We include the important "BOAST" guidelines published by the British Orthopaedic Association. These provide standardised step-by-step instructions for the management of important traumatic conditions. It is important to exactly follow the guidelines as they are based upon the best evidence available. Guidelines are for management of hip fractures in the elderly, clearance of the spine in trauma, management of pelvic & ace tabular fractures, management of open fractures, and management of nerve and arterial injuries.
